Slow Food Delmarva
Member. We support slow food. Just like the old TV commercial that showed a living family portrait with the grandkids, the kids, and Grandpa and Grandma. One of the grandsons lovingly describes Thanksgiving and how wonderful it is to come to Grandma's house, because, "She does that something special to her food." Dourly Grandma stares into the camera and sez, "Yeah. I cook it." So do we.
Delaware River and Bay Lighthouse Foundation
These people are dedicated to presreving the historic lighthouses of the Delaware Bay. The United States donated the Harbor of Refuge Lighthouse to the organization through the National Historic Lighthouse Preservation Act. Tours are available each summer.
St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital
We have been supporting this cause since our first year through the Hope In The Harbor event each spring in Baltimore. In the two years of product donations, the event has raised nearly a half million dollars for children's cancer research.
